LTC - Sr. Engineer Civil
Job Description
To study the Basic Engineering Design Document and other documents necessary to carry out further engineering activities, To ensure that engineers and designers in his/ her team are aware of specific job requirements and to ensure that the departmental quality procedures are adopted consistently. To perfrom and review/check engineering calculations, drawings and review Plant 3D models as required.
Should have sound fundamentals in Civil and structural engineering. Exposure to design of foundations / structures and other civil works such as pits/ponds for refinery/petrochemicals or power plants is required.Shall have hand-on expereiece in utlizing STAAD-Pro. Exposure to other design software such as Foundation-3D, Mat-3D, GTStruDl, SAP2000, ETABS etc. will be desirable. Shall have necessary skills and knowledge to check design calculations and drawings for Foundation and structures. Working in integrated 3D environment including interface with other departments and vendors. Exposure to any one plant deign system viz. PDS, PDMS or SP-3D is essential.
